VICTRIX PENINSULAR CENTRE COMPANY BOX SET


The box comes with bodies to make 4 commissioned men (officers or
ensigns), 4 drummers, 4 NCOs and 40 men.

The 40 men have 4 kneeling, 8 standing and 24 advancing/charging.

There are 8 pairs of firing arms A1/A2
      8 high porte A3/A4
      8 leveled (charging) A5/A6
      4 for the kneeling figures to be defending A7/A8
      8 shouldered (for marching) {no code}
      4 grounded muskets (for standing) {no code}
      8 trailing

There's 4 drums and 4 sets of drummer arms. There are 8 sword arm
pairs, 4 standards, 4 pikes and why this information isn't all on
their website, I don't know.

Each battalion needs and officer, ensign, sgt and drummer in the
centre. It then needs 8 front rankers, 8 rear rankers, 2 rear flanks,
2 front flanks. Since the front 10 figures should be similar, each btn
then consists of 2 poses for the front and rear.

2 boxes of centre and 1 of flank should then build;

Btn 1; Firing {suitable for square}

    Defending arms, kneeling body
    Firing arms, either standing or marching body
	   (so it looks like they're leaning into the musket)

Btn 2; Firing 2 

    Grounded musket arms, standing body
    Firing arms, bodies as above.

Btn 3; Marching

    Marching arms for all, a mix of marching/advancing bodies

Btn 4; Attacking

    a mix of marching/advancing bodies
    levelled muskets at the front, high porte at the rear.
    {the figures won't rank up if the rear ones are levelled}

Btn 5; Attacking 2

    Same as above.


This will use all the centre sprue bodies and half the flank
sprues.

There's enough flank bodies left over to make a btn of light infantry
advancing with (say) trailed muskets; the flank box will provide
suitable officers/sgts.
