It definately won't be 2/3 or 9/10 August (WUGC)
it probably won't be 16/17 August (Brighton Beyond/Taunton Open)
it probably won't be 23/24 August (Bank Holiday/Music Festivals/Copa)
it definately won't be 6/7 September (o+w nationals)

...leaving the most likely dates of:
30/31 August (Marie Curie)
13/14 Sept (Glastonbury),
20/21Sept

If I were you I would book your holiday for the beginning of August,
and take the Mrs to Vancouver.
