On saturday 16 teams descended on Sandbanks beach in poole to participate in frostbite 2008.

yes, thats 16 teams playing beach ultimate in january......in Britain!

After a hard fought but extremely well spirited (11 of the 16 teams averaged over 8 points per game on the BULA spirit scoring system) day of beach ultimate the final standings are shown below:

9. Low percentage heroes (Plate winners)

16. Downing College Ultimate

Special mention must go to POGGs who took home the spirit prize for the second year in a row
