[BD] Indoors 2008

The following Club tournaments (i.e. not the Uni tournaments, though 
obviously Uni teams are still encouraged to attend) have been awarded:

Northern Indoor Regionals:
Manchester 26/27 January 2008

These will be held on larger-than-average pitches on the very latest 
Fifa-approved robo-astroturf, which will allow lots of laying out at an 
indoor tournament. And you can wear cleats. I'll certainly be going 
myself to find out what it's like. I suspect it might be a pretty 
popular tournament.

National Open and Women's Indoor Finals 2008:
Sheffield 8/9 March 2008

Another stunning venue - Ponds Forge International - offering very large 
pitches (something like 18mx39m, far bigger than usual) and excellent 
facilities. The top 16 Open and the top 12 Women's teams should have a 
great tournament to look forward to.

Details of these events will be sent out by the TDs as and when they're 
ready.

Bids still needed for the following:

1) Open Indoor regionals in the south and Scotland (26/27 Jan) - one or 
two people are looking into it, but currently no bids received.
2) Women's indoor regionals have a date set aside (also 26/27 Jan) and 
should anyone wish to host a tournament they can, though it's debatable 
whether there are enough teams interested to justify a couple of 
regionals tournaments.
3) Mixed Indoor Nationals are set for 23/24 February. No bids received 
as yet.
