I'm sure I won't be the only one to suggest a few more cons, but here I go:
2. You have back to back games a mile from HQ you're screwed.
3. The team previously on your pitch 'forgets' to bring the pitch disc back
you're screwed.
4. The game runs late but instead of starting the next game as soon as it
finishes, representatives from all 4 teams have to trek back to HQ to sign
in and out the two discs, after the two teams who just played have had their
circle, and each has had a huddle to discuss spirit scores which they have
to hand in immediately. Tournament is running an hour late by lunchtime on
Saturday.
Not well thought out, but at least it is a suggestion. I favour the marks
out of ten, average taken, which irons out teams playing less games and
opponents forgetting to hand in votes. Not perfect, but I'd rather have
responsibility to handle it myself than be forced at the cost of scheduling
nightmares etc.
My views, not my team's etc.
Graham
